About the role
Jerry Varghese Consultancy is seeking a Material Controller to support an oil & gas shutdown project in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on monitoring, coordinating and controlling all materials required for the shutdown activities, ensuring timely availability and accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor material requirements for the shutdown project and maintain up‑to‑date records.
- Coordinate material deliveries and issue with project teams to avoid delays.
- Control inventory levels, perform stock reconciliations and manage material movements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to material handling and inventory control.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in oil & gas or shutdown projects.
- Experience in material control or material management functions.
- Strong documentation and inventory control abilities.
- Ability to coordinate material needs with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Relevant qualifications for the position.
