About the role
GEMS Wellington School in Qatar is expanding its secondary Mathematics team and seeks an inspirational teacher to start in January 2027. The role involves delivering the British curriculum (GCSE/IGCSE and A‑Level) to a diverse student body and contributing to a world‑class learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support an inclusive learning environment while raising standards for all students.
- Apply proven teaching and learning methodologies and remain open to innovative approaches.
- Commit to the “Teach Like a GEM” pedagogy, believing every student can achieve.
- Participate actively in the school’s extracurricular programme to develop well‑rounded learners.
Required profile
- Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE and A‑Level Mathematics within a British curriculum school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an appropriate teaching degree.
