Medical Beds & Furniture Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Technician to maintain and service hospital beds and medical furniture in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. The role involves ensuring that all equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with manufacturer and hospital standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital beds and related medical furniture.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational faults.
• Carry out regular safety and functionality inspections and keep detailed maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to breakdown requests and coordinate with hospital staff and maintenance teams.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and hospital regulations.
• Report major faults, recurring issues, and equipment that may need replacement or specialist support.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining medical beds and furniture.
• OEM training certification for Hillrom hospital beds (mandatory or preferred).
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare facility, preferably in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar driving licence (preferred) and strong command of English.
