MWR Specialist Lead

About the role

The MWR Specialist Lead oversees daily operations of multiple recreational and facility services, ensuring high‑quality customer experiences across fitness, lounge, housekeeping, linen exchange, community activity centers, learning resource and media facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage personnel, ensuring compliance with AFCENTI 32‑1002 and escort badge requirements.
• Lead customer service, cashier, bartending and lounge support functions across 24/7 operations.
• Maintain equipment condition, track inventory, and develop five‑year equipment plans.
• Coordinate and execute special events, cultural tours, and trips, completing after‑action reports.
• Set up and break down government‑furnished equipment such as tables, chairs, audio‑visual systems and stages per PWS specifications.
• Ensure facilities remain safe, clean, sanitary and professionally presented at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of relevant experience in recreational services or facility operations.
• Valid CPR/AED First Aid certification.
• Serve‑Safe Alcohol Awareness certification.
• CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) defense training.
• Ability to work on‑site in Qatar and lead a diverse team.
