Network Security Administrator

About the role

The Network Security Administrator will ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of Qatar Stock Exchange’s network infrastructure. You will protect data and systems, manage internal and external connectivity, and uphold regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high availability, performance, and security of LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
• Design, implement, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti‑virus, encryption, and access‑control solutions.
• Monitor network traffic, analyze logs, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Support MPLS, GN network, routing engines, and multicast configurations.
• Manage relationships with connectivity providers, brokers, and third‑party vendors.
• Develop and maintain incident‑response plans, disaster‑recovery strategies, and conduct resilience drills.
• Automate monitoring, configuration, and reporting through scripts and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+ or Security+.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network operations and security.
