Nursing Operations Manager – Qatar

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways Group Health & Medical Services Department as an Operational Nurse Manager. Working within the Nursing Hub, you will support the Operations Manager – Nursing in driving service expansion, quality improvement, and accreditation initiatives across a range of clinical programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager – Nursing in planning, coordinating and monitoring key projects such as CDC Teletriage, mobile clinics, Crew City Clinic, occupational health expansion, specialist clinics and staff recognition programmes.
• Act as liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff and senior leadership, supporting policy development, scheduling, resource allocation and operational audits.
• Support licensing and accreditation efforts (JCI, Magnet) through documentation, evidence collection, internal audits and collaboration with governance teams.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and training sessions, preparing communication materials to ensure stakeholder engagement and project visibility.
• Collect, analyse and present operational data, maintaining accurate records and producing performance reports for decision‑making and compliance tracking.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to GHMS nurses, fostering a culture of professional excellence, accountability and continuous learning.
• Oversee daily nursing service operations, including clinical request management, scheduling, service coordination and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered nurse, preferably Qatari national, with strong organisational and proactive mindset.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination or management within a healthcare setting.
• Passion for healthcare innovation, operational excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop nursing teams.
