About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily operational functions, ensuring smooth administration, health and safety, policy implementation, and transport coordination within a thriving international school environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of operational documents and reports.
  • Support the development, implementation, and review of school policies, including health and safety policies.
  • Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to school operations and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate transportation services, including scheduling, liaising with transport providers, and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Support the organization of health and safety drills, inspections, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain records of operational activities and ensure documentation is up‑to‑date and accurate.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Science or Commerce.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in an international or multicultural environment (desirable).
  • 1‑3 years experience in school operations, facilities management, or a similar environment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and policies applicable to educational institutions.
  • Familiarity with policy development, SOP writing, and document preparation.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Understanding of compliance standards for health, safety, and operational policies.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
