About the role
Egis is seeking an Operations Director to lead the planning, governance, and delivery of its consultancy and project management projects. The role combines strategic leadership, business development, and operational oversight to ensure profitable, high‑quality outcomes across the company’s global portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with industry standards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, managing proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure timely, quality delivery of consultancy and PMC projects while monitoring budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage design and project management teams, fostering collaboration and creativity.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, optimise operational costs, and achieve turnover, gross margin, and net‑profit targets.
- Maintain adherence to design standards, building codes, and sustainability practices, implementing quality‑assurance processes.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in operations, business development, and strategic planning.
- Strong client relationship management and ability to resolve escalated issues.
- Deep understanding of design processes, project management, and consultancy services.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving performance.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost optimisation, and profitability analysis.
