Part‑time Pediatric Peer Reviewer (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in pediatrics or a related field to join our editorial team as part‑time remote peer reviewers. This long‑term, stable position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by evaluating manuscripts submitted to leading journals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and significance.
• Provide constructive, clear, and concise feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your evaluation.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in pediatrics or a related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
