Pigging Specialist

About the role

The Pigging Specialist will develop and implement QatarEnergy LNG’s pipeline pigging programs across all assets, ensuring pipeline integrity and reliability while minimizing disruption to core business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee maintenance and inspection pigging campaigns on onshore and offshore pipelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, operations, engineering and maintenance teams to align pigging activities with business schedules.
• Review and assess ILI pigging reports, manage follow‑up actions, and ensure final reporting.
• Verify and support the pipeline corrosion monitoring program, including monthly fluid analysis and data reporting.
• Identify opportunities for procedural, tool or planning improvements and document lessons learned.
• Provide technical guidance to other project groups on pipeline integrity and corrosion monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pipeline pigging, integrity management or related oil‑and‑gas operations.
• Strong understanding of corrosion monitoring, fluid analysis and data interpretation.
• Ability to work with offshore and onshore teams and manage third‑party contractors.
• Commitment to safety, health, environment and quality standards.
