About the role

Responsible for the technical tax elements of the TAX AUTHORITY’s implementation of Pillar Two rules in Qatar, ensuring alignment with G20/OECD policy and supporting the country’s business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax technical support for Pillar Two implementation, including policy development, legislative drafting and compliance guidance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to design legislative instruments, system processes, and public awareness materials.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with international bodies, ministries, and the business community to promote understanding of Pillar Two and BEPS matters.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for TAX AUTHORITY staff on Pillar Two and related international tax issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Law, Business or Public Administration.
• 15+ years of experience in international tax, BEPS and Pillar Two frameworks, preferably in advisory or governmental settings.
• Proven ability to interpret tax laws, develop policy positions and communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of BEPS, Pillar Two framework and international tax agreements.
• Experience with legislative drafting and policy development.
• Ability to design and conduct training curricula and public awareness campaigns.
