Plant Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of plant equipment and machinery. You will work closely with production teams, management and suppliers to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, developing and executing maintenance plans to reduce disruptions.
• Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose issues and propose solutions that improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with production, management and suppliers to align maintenance plans with organisational goals.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations, identifying and mitigating hazards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics and procedures supporting maintenance activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance technical skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and equipment knowledge.
• Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems and develop effective solutions.
