Primary Teacher

About the role

The Primary Teacher will deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons to a diverse group of learners, fostering inquiry, creativity and critical thinking. You will create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and integrate technology to support digital skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners, using a range of teaching strategies.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal responsibility.
• Establish a supportive classroom climate built on positive relationships and respect.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning and develop essential digital skills.
• Promote student agency through goal‑setting, reflection and ownership of learning.
• Implement behaviour management aligned with school policies and restorative practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design coherent grade‑level programmes and ensure curriculum alignment with international best practices.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, provide feedback and differentiate instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of attainment, progress and pastoral information.
• Support inclusion of EAL, SEN and high‑achieving students, working closely with the Inclusion Department and pastoral teams.
• Participate in team meetings, professional learning communities and whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging primary‑level lessons.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to high expectations.
• Experience creating inclusive, supportive learning environments.
• Willingness to integrate technology and promote digital literacy.
• Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborative mindset, actively contributing to team planning and professional development.
