Principal Services Business Development Lead – Qatar & Kuwait

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Principal Services Business Development Lead to drive growth across its Qatar and Kuwait cluster. You will own revenue targets, shape the services strategy, and act as the senior face of Mastercard Services in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive services business development strategy for Qatar and Kuwait.
• Lead, coach, and expand a senior team that works closely with Mastercard account teams and clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C‑suite executives and senior client stakeholders.
• Partner with market and account leadership to align services with client and market priorities.
• Translate client needs into tailored Mastercard Services propositions and actionable plans.
• Lead high‑value opportunities, negotiate contracts, and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Collaborate with product, consulting, finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven track record in senior business development or sales leadership within payments, financial services, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing teams.
