About the role

A private high‑net‑worth family based in Doha is seeking an experienced UK‑qualified English teacher to provide one‑to‑one tuition for their children aged 6‑12. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on developing reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and spoken confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalised English lessons aligned with the children’s age and ability.
• Assess progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to maximise learning outcomes.
• Support the development of literacy and communication skills across all language domains.
• Maintain a professional, discreet and organised learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of teaching experience, preferably in UK independent or boarding schools.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
• Proven track record teaching children aged 6‑12 in high‑performing settings.
• Excellent references and successful background checks.
