Process Safety Engineering Consultant – Qatar

About the role

AcuTech Group is expanding its Qatar team and seeks experienced Process Safety Engineering Consultants to deliver safety and risk‑management services to leading oil, gas, chemical and related companies across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute Process Safety Management (PSM) projects, including Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA).
• Develop and deliver safety engineering solutions for manufacturing, design and facility‑siting challenges.
• Manage client relationships, prepare proposals, and present technical findings to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross‑functional teams on complex safety assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Safety or related engineering discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience for Consultant level or 10‑15+ years for Senior Consultant level in process safety, engineering design or consulting environments.
• Proven ability to work independently, handle multiple projects and drive business development.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
