Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the role

ATAAD Trading W.L.L. is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Officer to support the acquisition, coordination, and delivery of goods and services essential to its operations in the military and tactical apparel sector. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective procurement and smooth logistics flow while complying with company policies and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes: source suppliers, obtain quotations, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and create purchase orders in the ERP/SAP system.
• Maintain supplier records, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Coordinate transportation, shipment, and delivery of materials, liaising with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal teams.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, resolve logistics issues, and ensure proper documentation.
• Support internal departments and warehouse teams on material requirements, delivery schedules, and record‑keeping.
• Prepare procurement and logistics reports and participate in departmental performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in textile procurement, logistics, or supply‑chain operations.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, ISM CPSM, or CSCP are a plus.

Required skills

• SAP ERP system proficiency.
