Procurement Specialist – Qatarization (Qatari)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Procurement Specialist who is a Qatari national to support our sourcing and purchasing activities. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while adhering to company policies and Qatarization goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration.
• Obtain and assess quotations, proposals, and bids to secure value for money and quality.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and category‑management initiatives.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance against service levels.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation in line with company policies.
• Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Produce procurement reports, spend analysis, and performance metrics for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of tendering processes and supplier management.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
