Production Support Engineer

About the role

The Production Support Engineer will ensure smooth execution of production activities by preparing essential documentation, monitoring schedules, and coordinating with multiple internal teams. This role supports the delivery of projects in the oil & gas and industrial repair sectors, maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Materials, purchase requisitions, route sheets, ITPs, production receipts and invoices.
• Update production schedules, track job progress and maintain monitoring reports.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager, workshop teams, QC, procurement and field service to meet customer and engineering requirements.
• Support manpower planning, monitor time‑sheets, utilization and completion status.
• Review scope of work, shutdown requirements and ensure pricing aligns with commercial offers.
• Document meeting minutes, provide regular updates on production and invoicing status.
• Ensure timely material procurement and maintain production registers.
• Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to track job status and flag delays.
• Maintain compliance with QMS processes and all relevant QHSE policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in production support, planning or engineering within an industrial workshop environment.
• Proactive, flexible and able to manage changing work priorities.
• Strong teamwork orientation with ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Good problem‑solving, analytical abilities and accurate record‑keeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using CAD software.
• Knowledge of rotary and static equipment used in oil & gas and industrial repair.
• Familiarity with relevant API and ISO standards.
