Project Manager – Completions & Wellbore Intervention

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the execution of high‑impact projects within the Completions & Wellbore Intervention organization, acting as the single point of contact for key customers in Qatar. The role ensures financial targets and customer requirements are met while coordinating across multiple internal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client liaison, managing contracts and maintaining a functional Project Communication Plan.
• Directly manage the core Project Management Team.
• Coordinate with Operations, AMO, Engineering, PL, supply chain, finance and other functions.
• Oversee multiple CWI products and services across awarded contracts.
• Develop and continuously improve the Project Execution Plan, including risk, communications, sourcing, quality, readiness and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct regular project reviews with clients, company leadership and internal staff.
• Participate in peer reviews, after‑action reviews and investigations as needed.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives through lessons‑learned processes.
• Collaborate with the CWI Operations Manager to meet project and contract KPIs.
• Provide accurate financial forecasts and deliver committed revenue, margin, DSO and cash flow.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Utilise and enhance project management and reporting tools.
• Promote company ethics and initiatives across the project and wider organization.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field from an accredited university.
• Significant experience managing major projects in a complex matrix environment.
• Deep knowledge of Completions & Wellbore Intervention products, including wellbore construction, cased‑hole completions and conventional fishing.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Project management tools and processes.
• Technical understanding of wellbore construction and completion technologies.
