Project Manager - IT

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of digital initiatives for QR IT in Doha, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, are completed on time and within budget. This role covers the full project lifecycle from initiation through hyper‑care, transition to support and ongoing enhancement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital projects, defining scope, objectives, success criteria and delivery roadmap.
• Establish project governance, milestones, dependencies and release plans.
• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage product backlog execution together with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple Agile teams (PODs) across concurrent workstreams and ensure Agile best practices are followed.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, provide regular progress updates and communicate risks and decisions.
• Drive procurement of new solutions, evaluate SaaS providers and monitor vendor deliverables, SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead geographically distributed teams, establish working agreements and resolve cross‑team dependencies.
• Maintain RAID logs, conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, track invoices and contracts, and report financial performance.
