QA QC Engineer

About the role

The QA QC Engineer will lead quality assurance and control activities across construction projects in Qatar. You will ensure that all works meet project specifications, ISO 9001 standards, and client expectations while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor QA/QC activities throughout construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Review, develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and Quality Plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality audits with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Track Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Support internal, external and client audits and maintain comprehensive QA/QC records.
• Prepare quality reports and assist the QA/QC Manager in achieving quality objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, with Qatar project exposure.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and a valid Quality Management certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QA/QC systems, inspections, ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, CAPA, audits and quality documentation.
• Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and project teams.
