QA/QC Manager – Construction Projects in Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the Quality Department on major building construction projects in Qatar. The role involves establishing, implementing, and continuously improving the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) to ensure all works meet contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, codes, and international quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the PQMS across all project phases.
• Lead the project quality team and coordinate with Engineering, Construction, MEP, Procurement, Planning, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, ISO 9001, international construction codes and company procedures.
• Prepare and control Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material inspections and shop‑drawing compliance.
• Manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Produce quality reports, documentation and maintain QA/QC records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 15‑20 years of QA/QC experience on major building projects, with at least 10 years in Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 main contracting.
• Minimum 5 years in a QA/QC Manager or senior QA/QC engineering leadership role.
• Proven experience implementing and managing PQMS on high‑rise, commercial, residential, mixed‑use, hospitality, healthcare or similar developments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, international construction codes and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and report‑writing skills.
