QA/QC Manager - Mechanical O&G

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the quality function for the mechanical scope of a large‑scale oil and gas project in Qatar. The role involves establishing and maintaining a robust project quality system that aligns with contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a fully documented project quality system covering engineering, procurement, installation, and pre‑/commissioning.
• Ensure all work complies with the project quality standards and the Project Quality Plan.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for every execution phase.
• Maintain a quality audit schedule to verify the effectiveness of the quality system.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (HND acceptable with strong qualifications).
• QMS Lead Auditor certification.
• 20+ years of experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate at all levels, and drive quality improvements.
