QHSE Lead Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Lead Auditor to join our team and drive excellence in quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems. You will lead professional audits in line with international standards and our internal requirements, supporting the transition to integrated management systems across multiple schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report audits following ISO 19011, the Bureau Veritas Management System, and the BVC MER Operations Manual.
• Maintain strict adherence to the BV Code of Ethics, confidentiality rules, and quality assurance protocols.
• Stay current with regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and scheme developments.
• Coordinate audit activities with team leaders, technical staff, and sales colleagues to ensure alignment and identify business opportunities.
• Handle unexpected audit situations, report findings promptly, and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities.
• Manage travel logistics efficiently and protect company assets during assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium or large industrial environment.
• Hands‑on background in planning, production, QA/QC, maintenance, or project management.
• At least 2 years of direct experience with QMS, EMS, OHSAS, or related schemes; first‑, second‑ or third‑party auditing experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ISO 19011 auditing standards.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), OHSAS, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS).
• Strong communication, reporting and presentation abilities.
• Leadership and teamwork skills, with excellent time‑management and organizational capabilities.
