Quality Assurance & Control Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that construction activities meet international quality standards and client expectations. Working on site, the role involves implementing the Project Quality Management System, preparing inspection requests, and monitoring material compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project QA/QC Manager in applying the approved Quality Plan and Integrated Management System procedures.
• Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for each activity and ensure all required documents are reviewed by the consultant.
• Check incoming materials against project specifications and approved submittals, raising NCRs when necessary.
• Monitor test reports, update the construction team on status, and maintain records for weekly progress meetings.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety awareness activities.

Required profile

• Professional degree in MMUP, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer Registration (UPDA) or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001) or ASQC certification (CQM/CQE).
• At least 1 month of relevant experience in construction QA/QC.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QCS, ISO 9001, SMACNA, NFPA, ASHRAE standards.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• ERP familiarity, preferably SAP.
