Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its infrastructure team. You will be responsible for accurate measurement, pricing, and post‑contract administration on large road and civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and price works using contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Manage post‑contract QS functions including interim and final payments, variations, cash‑flow monitoring and claims.
• Provide contractual advice, ensure compliance with contractual requirements and audit contractor payments.
• Prepare variations, day‑works, and monitor final cost estimates.
• Maintain expenditure records, review and negotiate claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor the QS team’s activities and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Perform any other duties related to the position as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 8 years of experience on large infrastructure projects, especially roads.
• Consultancy experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑ and post‑contract administration.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with management and staff.
