Resident Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead construction supervision for roads and infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. You will act as the primary technical liaison between the client, authorities, and contractors, ensuring the project meets schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering scope, schedules, change orders, and project close‑out for assigned road and bridge elements.
• Coordinate approvals and hand‑over processes with local authorities and agencies.
• Review contractor deliverables for compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain client expectations, provide regular progress updates, and ensure Parsons’ contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of post‑graduate experience in supervision and construction management of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects, preferably in Qatar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional certification such as MME or UPDA.
