Sales Manager – Insurance Agents Team Lead

About the role

The Sales Manager will act as the primary liaison between the company and its insurance agents, fostering strong relationships, driving agent development, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing a team of 10‑12 life insurance sales agents while collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop life insurance sales agents.
• Manage agent activity, focusing on retention and performance improvement.
• Conduct joint field work with agents to demonstrate effective sales techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and guidelines.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly face‑to‑face team meetings to monitor progress.
• Achieve recruitment and sales targets, reviewing plans and implementing corrective actions.
• Motivate the team to meet daily activation goals and drive income growth.
• Manage company leads and exploit growth opportunities.
• Provide professional service and support to customers.
• Complete all mandatory certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least five years of sales experience.
• At least five years of people management experience.
• Proven track record of positive sales performance.
• Life insurance sales experience is an asset.
