About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager – MICE to drive our meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions business. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from handling requests for proposals to delivering tailored offers that meet guest expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all incoming MICE RFPs generated by inbound or outbound sales offices for your defined segment or portfolio.
- Implement and execute sales objectives and action plans to exceed set targets.
- Prepare offer letters that align with guest requirements, availability, company standards and selling strategy.
- Gather all necessary event information from account managers or directly from clients before preparing proposals.
- Identify up‑selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities that complement the MICE booking.
- Maintain major account files and support superiors in managing the accounts system.
- Ensure strict adherence to Rotana sales policies and standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Degree in sales or a related field.
- Minimum two years of post‑graduate work experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Computer literate with strong presentation abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
