Security Manager - Construction - Oil & Gas

About the role

Join an international contractor delivering oil and gas construction projects in Qatar as a Security Manager. You will develop, implement and oversee all aspects of project security, safeguarding personnel, assets, facilities and operations while ensuring compliance with client, company and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project security plans, procedures and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Conduct security risk and threat assessments for sites, offices, accommodation and logistics operations.
• Manage site access control, guarding services, CCTV systems and other physical security measures.
• Liaise with client security teams, government authorities, law‑enforcement and emergency services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of security management experience, including at least 5 years on major EPC, oil & gas or industrial projects in the Middle East.
• Proven experience on large international EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of security risk management, incident investigation, emergency response and crisis management.
• Experience managing contract security providers and working with multinational project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Single status only.
