Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure strict adherence to internal policies and IFRS standards, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role demands strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or contracting industries.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
