Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual administration of major road and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role covers the full contract lifecycle, from budgeting and tendering to close‑out, ensuring compliance with Qatar’s Public Works Authority (PWA) procedures and QCS 2014 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer General Engineering Consultant (GEC) and construction contracts in line with PWA regulations and Qatar government requirements.
• Lead procurement and competitive open tendering for construction and consultancy contracts.
• Prepare and review tender documentation, including ITTs, scopes of work, pricing preambles, bills of quantities, and insurance requirements.
• Manage change orders, variations, claims, and commercial risk throughout the project.
• Oversee cost estimating, cost management, payments, and final commercial close‑out.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and contractual compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (minimum 20 years) in roads and infrastructure contracts.
• Deep knowledge of PWA procedures, PWA Conditions of Contract, and QCS 2014.
• Proven track record in commercial and contractual administration for large‑scale projects.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
