Senior Data Center Solution Architect – Presales

About the role

The Senior Data Center Solution Architect – Presales will own end‑to‑end data‑center solution design, covering physical infrastructure, compute, storage, virtualization and networking. Acting as the technical authority for multiple vendor product lines, you will translate complex customer requirements into validated, bankable designs and lead strategic engagements with C‑level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete data‑center solutions integrating Huawei, Supermicro, Legrand, Rittal, FABNET and other products.
• Lead high‑value RFP/RFI responses, design workshops and blueprints for greenfield and brownfield projects (Tier III/IV, edge, colocation, hybrid‑cloud).
• Develop power redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N), precision cooling, containment, structured cabling, rack layouts and DCIM integration.
• Produce detailed BoQs, BoMs, Statements of Work, capacity models and TCO/ROI analyses.
• Perform competitive positioning against Cisco, Dell, HPE, Vertiv, Schneider Electric, APC and articulate differentiated value.
• Validate designs against international standards (Uptime Institute Tier, TIA‑942, ASHRAE).
• Engage directly with C‑level executives, IT directors and facilities heads during presales, site surveys, PoCs and pilot deployments.
• Mentor junior presales engineers and deliver technical enablement sessions.

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in data‑center architecture and presales.
• Proven ability to lead complex, high‑value engagements and interact with executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for capacity planning, financial modelling and competitive analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value.
