Senior Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

Talabat is expanding its Talabat Mart grocery service across the Middle East and needs a senior demand planning specialist to ensure optimal inventory levels in its stores. You will work closely with category managers, suppliers and logistics partners to drive accurate forecasting and replenishment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movements and generate inventory adjustment reports to avoid out‑of‑stock (OOS) or overstock (OVS) situations.
• Maintain and update replenishment model parameters such as lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities and supplier minimum order quantities.
• Prepare demand forecasts, trigger store orders and track receipt of goods.
• Coordinate inventory management with category managers and ensure timely, accurate reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers, track deliveries and liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting and replenishment.
• Keep precise records of in‑stock levels and overall inventory positions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within FMCG.
• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end demand forecasting and replenishment.
• Hands‑on experience with warehouse management or 3PL partner relations.
• Data‑driven, detail‑oriented and comfortable working with multiple analytical tools.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with senior executives and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
