Senior Engineer - Data Science

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine‑learning solutions on the OCI Data Science Platform. You will work with cross‑functional teams to turn data into actionable AI models that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Build, train, evaluate and deploy ML models using OCI Data Science, notebooks and Python.
• Perform data cleansing, feature engineering, dataset management and model validation.
• Develop supervised and unsupervised models for forecasting, classification, clustering and recommendation.
• Manage model lifecycle, versioning, approvals and governance via OCI Model Catalog.
• Deploy models as scalable REST APIs and support CI/CD pipelines for production rollout.
• Monitor model performance, drift and utilisation, and lead retraining initiatives.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support for AI/ML solutions, including troubleshooting and knowledge‑base updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning or predictive modelling.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with OCI Data Science or comparable cloud ML platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering ML models to production and managing MLOps processes.
• Strong understanding of feature engineering, model governance and large‑scale data analysis.
• Relevant OCI certifications are a plus.
