Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support senior management by delivering insightful financial analysis, monitoring project and operational costs, and guiding investment decisions. This role is pivotal for driving business growth and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis and business planning.
• Analyse operational and project financial performance, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments and business units.
• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX performance and recommend actions to optimise costs and profitability.
• Conduct profitability analysis, scenario modelling and investment performance evaluations.
• Assist senior leadership in strategic planning, financial decision‑making and long‑term initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning initiatives and support audits.
• Prepare presentations and financial insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA or CFA preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, planning or related finance roles.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and modelling.
• Experience in large‑scale or multinational organisations is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of energy, oil & gas, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
• Knowledge of project finance, CAPEX/OPEX analysis and operational cost structures.
• Familiarity with IFRS and financial compliance standards.
