Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the business by delivering financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting. The role focuses on creating added value to improve decision‑making and streamline financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models using quantitative tools to support investment and insourcing decisions.
• Analyse actual revenues and costs, prepare root‑cause variance analyses and report results to management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance stakeholders and business units.
• Conduct ad‑hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management and present findings.
• Define, monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
• Ensure financial accounting reports align with corporate definitions and standards.
• Review annual budget submissions against strategic targets and control spend to meet cost‑of‑sale objectives.
• Evaluate business case proposals for incremental revenue or cost reduction and verify contract compliance.
• Consolidate departmental financial results monthly and support yearly budgeting cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret variances, understand business cycles and their impact on profit and loss.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with employees at all organisational levels.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
