Senior Hook & Commissioning Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Hook & Commissioning Manager to lead the planning and delivery of Hook Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities on offshore projects. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary HUC team, coordinating marine assets and ensuring safe, cost‑effective execution of all commissioning tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop the project HUC scope, execution plans and detailed schedules.
• Lead the assigned HUC team, ensuring work is delivered on time, safely and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to align strategies and deliverables.
• Conduct constructability reviews, propose cost‑effective solutions and enforce safe work practices.
• Manage marine spread including JUBs, workboats and supply vessels.
• Control the HUC budget, monitor Earned‑Value and report cost performance (EAC) to management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, lead project meetings and align execution strategies.
• Facilitate HAZID and SIMOPS workshops, identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Oversee readiness processes, subcontractor and vendor requirements, and ensure mobilization of offshore personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a senior Hook Up & Commissioning role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to manage budgets and report cost performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead offshore campaigns, conduct daily progress calls and provide visible leadership on site.
