Senior Lead Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Auditor to drive internal audit engagements across the organization. The role will strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks while ensuring compliance with company policies and international audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and lead end‑to‑end internal audit engagements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Conduct operational, financial, and forensic audits.
• Identify control gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
• Prepare and present audit reports with clear findings and recommendations.
• Perform follow‑ups on corrective actions to ensure closure.
• Support departments in addressing audit findings and improving processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and IIA standards.
• Utilize data analytics and sampling techniques during audits.
• Conduct site visits and department audits as per the audit plan.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of experience, including at least 5 years in internal audit.
• Proven experience leading audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and forensic audits.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (ERP systems).
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as ACL (preferred).
• Strong understanding of IIA standards and audit methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CIA (mandatory/preferred).
