Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to lead our maintenance and operations team. The role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure reliable electrical infrastructure and compliance with OEM and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM & CM) for LV, MV, transformers and generators.
• Lead tendering processes, including material submittals, cost analysis and estimation.
• Review CAD drawings, technical documentation and ensure accurate electrical load calculations (cable and breaker sizing).
• Manage CMMS/CAFM systems, KPI tracking and reporting.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance activities.
• Supervise and mentor technical teams, ensuring alignment with OEM recommendations and international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• UPDA Grade AQCDD Approved.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage large‑scale projects.

Required skills

• ELV systems: UPS, ACS, BMS, CBS, AV.
• Electrical systems: LV, MV, transformers, generators.
• Electrical load calculations, cable sizing, breaker sizing.
• CAD drawing review and technical documentation.
• Material submittals, tender estimation and cost analysis.
• CMMS and CAFM systems.
• KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• SOP development and implementation.
