Senior Project Manager - Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead offshore projects across the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. You will be responsible for budgeting, staffing, and ensuring that all project activities meet health, safety, environmental and security standards while delivering value for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and manage project operations within approved budgets.
• Control staffing levels, organizational structure and project discipline frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and security requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and manage design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Maintain clear client objectives and strive to exceed them.
• Achieve or improve budgeted gross margin and manage contract performance.
• Monitor project performance, identify issues early and implement corrective actions.
• Develop resource and financial requirements from the project plan.
• Oversee design, procurement and construction activities to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Lead the project team, providing vision and strategy for success.
• Ensure procurement delivers goods on time, within specification and budget.
• Monitor construction management for safe, on‑schedule delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large offshore projects in the energy, chemicals or resources sectors.
• Strong track record in budgeting, cost control and gross‑margin management.
• Deep understanding of health, safety, environmental and security standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex interfaces.
• Experience with contract management and client relationship management.
