Senior Quantity Surveyor – British Cost Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our British Cost Consultancy team in Doha. The role provides commercial support to project teams, ensuring contractual compliance and driving the company’s “Three Pillar” objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update commercial information for all projects.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company objectives.
• Liaise with client representatives and third parties on variations, claims and additional payments.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors, chair regular meetings and manage measurement and control cycles.
• Prepare certificates, accrual calculations and monthly earned‑value reports.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying.
• MRICS accreditation.
• Proven experience in the civil engineering sector.
• Extensive background in commercial management and subcontractor procurement.
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time‑management and the capacity to mentor junior commercial staff.
