Senior Structural Engineer – Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead offshore structural design for oil and gas projects. The role involves delivering high‑quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting project delivery from concept through detailed design.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise offshore structural designers and draftsmen, ensuring adherence to engineering practices and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, calculations, and detailed design drawings for substructures, decks, and bridges.
• Conduct bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and approve technical submissions.
• Manage design changes, budgets, and schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Participate in weekly project meetings, produce progress reports, and drive continuous improvement in design processes.
• Support Lead Engineer in quality assurance activities, squad checking, and implementation of innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in offshore structural design within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record in FEED, detailed design, and execution of substructures, decks, and bridge systems.
• Strong technical supervision and mentorship abilities.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance, HSSE, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage design budgets, schedules, and documentation to meet project requirements.
