Senior System Administrator

About the role

As a Senior System Administrator at Malomatia, you will be the primary technical owner of a complex, hybrid IT environment. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure while collaborating with vendors and solution architects.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and AD FS for identity and access management.
• Manage Office 365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on Azure and Google Cloud Platform, following best‑practice security guidelines.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, physical servers, storage, and backup solutions such as Veeam or IDPA.
• Coordinate migration and repatriation projects, including Azure West Europe to Azure Qatar Central.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and support hardware refresh, capacity planning, and disaster‑recovery testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level system administration within hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux distributions (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu).
• Hands‑on expertise with identity management, Office 365, and enterprise endpoint tools (Intune, SCCM).
• Ability to work independently, lead migration initiatives, and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
