Senior Technology Risk Consultant

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Technology Risk Consultant to join its advisory practice in Doha. You will work with financial‑services clients to assess, mitigate and report on technology‑related risks, helping them build confidence with regulators, customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT internal audit, external audit integration and Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting engagements.
• Develop risk‑based audit plans, ensure compliance with professional standards and address inherent risks.
• Brief client teams on IT environments, industry trends and emerging threats.
• Maintain strong relationships with client management, set expectations for deliverables, timing and billing.
• Support business development activities across financial‑services sectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk advisor in a public accounting firm, professional services firm or financial‑services organization.
• Proven experience leading IT internal audit, external audit, SOC reporting and internal‑controls engagements.
• Demonstrated understanding of complex information systems and the client’s industry.
