Senior Vice President, Public Equities & Fixed Income

About the role

Lesha Bank is seeking a Senior Vice President to manage public equities and fixed income portfolios within its Asset Management division. The role involves conducting investment research, making portfolio decisions within delegated authority, and supporting the achievement of the department’s investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned public equities and fixed income portfolios in line with client mandates, approved strategies, and investment guidelines.
• Monitor holdings, market developments, and recommend purchases, sales, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Assess portfolio exposure, liquidity, income, duration, credit quality, and concentration, and track performance against benchmarks.
• Analyze listed companies, sectors, issuers, and broader market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
• Present research and portfolio recommendations to the Head of Asset Management and investment committees.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, dealing, operations, and custodians to resolve trade, settlement, and reconciliation issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; CFA charterholder or progress preferred.
• 8–12 years of asset‑management experience with substantial exposure to public equities and fixed income.
• Experience managing portfolios or contributing directly to investment decisions under defined mandates.
• Supervisory experience of analysts or junior investment professionals is a plus.
• Knowledge of GCC and international markets is advantageous.
