SIS Well Placement Engineer

About the role

The SIS Well Placement Engineer supports the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable products and services to customers. Working closely with operations groups, the role identifies continuous‑improvement opportunities and communicates findings, while providing real‑time technical support throughout the sales, product and service delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in well placement across the sales and service delivery lifecycle.
• Assist in developing technical job designs for project leads and evaluate cost‑effective techniques.
• Support real‑time incident response, recovery and investigation related to well placement.
• Identify and explore value‑added products, services and new technologies.
• Collaborate with design and technical engineers to optimise technical designs.
• Evaluate technical viability of tenders and contribute to technical publications.
• Maintain visibility with customers through participation in professional societies, conferences and university collaborations.
• Monitor competitor technical offerings and stay current on industry advancements.
