Social Media Lead – Growth Marketing (Freelance)

About the role

This temporary, on‑site freelance role in Doha supports TOD's Marketing team in planning, creating, and publishing engaging bilingual content across social media platforms, with a strong focus on sports and entertainment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a monthly bilingual content calendar covering football, Formula 1, tennis, movies, series, TOD Originals and priority events.
• Plan, create and edit short‑form, social‑first video content tailored to each platform.
• Publish approved content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and other relevant channels.
• Write clear, platform‑appropriate captions in both Arabic and English.
• Adapt and repurpose content quickly in response to live events, audience trends and changing priorities.
• Coordinate concepts, production, approvals and publishing with the TOD team while ensuring brand and editorial guidelines are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media content planning, creation and publishing.
• Strong understanding of sports and entertainment content.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and react quickly to live events.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
