Storekeeper – Hospitality Procurement

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage and distribution of merchandise for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha. This full‑time position ensures that all supplies, especially food items, are handled safely and meet the brand’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking appropriately for placement and delivering to the correct area.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory in a timely manner.
• Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Maintain food safety and handling procedures across all food‑related areas.
• Organise, clean and sanitise refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
